I have specialized training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy. With this powerful technique, I will help you become rapidly aware of self-sabotaging behaviors that impede your daily life by working in a warm and trusting environment.
I am fluent in Spanish, English and French, with extensive experience in the private and public health settings in Buenos Aires, New York and, most recently, in Los Angeles. Because of this, I am uniquely qualified to evaluate and treat patients from all walks-of-life in psychodynamic psychotherapy and, in some cases, supportive psychotherapy with a more pragmatic approach to dealing with crisis and immediate interventions.
Also, because of my broad training in Neuropsychology, my understanding of the relationship between the brain and behavior makes me highly qualified for the assessment and treatment of adults with neurological injuries, dementia, epilepsy, ADHD, and learning disabilities, as well as children with ADHD, learning disabilities, conduct and emotional problems.
Throughout my 15 years of experience working with trauma, abuse, torture survivors from abroad, victims and first responders of the 9/11 attacks, I have helped patients overcome depression, anxiety and health issues, specializing in grief and loss. Because of my commitment to my patients' willingness to change, together, I believe I can help you.
I also believe that preventive care in regard to mental, physical, and spiritual health is the best way to address the full needs and treatment of my clients. Therefore, my clinic addresses several directions, techniques, and services to strike a balance in the life of those we treat.
I use an eclectic therapeutic approach to address diverse psychological issues. I also utilize individual and group sessions to assist during our process of work. My clinic approaches therapy from a preventive care pathway, while incorporating body and nutritional modalities to help in healing.
